EPC Contractor

NEW AND MODIFIED BUILDINGS

The Building Regulations 2000 have been extended to require the supply of an EPC where either:

(a) a building is erected or

(b) a building is modified so that it has more or fewer parts designed or altered for separate use than it previously had AND the modification includes the provision or extension of fixed heating, hot water, air conditioning or mechanical ventilation.

The EPC and accompanying recommendation report are due not later than the date notice of completion is given to the local building inspector or, if that does not apply, no more than 5 days after completion of the works.
